Aisha Jamila Hinds is a well-known American actor. Her fame is due to her role in television series The Shield, and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003 she has demonstrated her versatility in acting by performing outstandingly in TV series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. Her first recognition came from her performance as Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. Hind also received high praises for her performance as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 is renewed for a third season with 20th Century Fox Television. Hind has completed filming for the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It is due to be released in mid-2019.
